How to enroll at the Lycée Molière
1. Making contact :
Interested parents should first contact the school for information on enrolment procedures, tuition fees and available places. This can be done online or in person, depending on the family’s situation.
2. Application for admission :
Parents must submit an application for admission to the school.
This application requires documents such as:
- 6 recent photos
- 1 birth certificate
- Copy of student’s passport (if applicable)
- Copy of parents’ identity cards
- Copy of health record
- Certificate of expulsion from previous school
- School reports (for all previous years)
- Marks for the anticipated exams and DNB exams (for lycée students)
- Transfer papers from previous school stamped by the Zone
- Transfer (electronic) to Egyptian Ministry website
3. Entrance exams:
When your application is complete and accepted, the admissions team will inform you of the date and time of your child(ren)’s entrance exam (for students who do not come from an MLF school). This exam assesses your child(ren)’s proficiency levels in oral and written French, mathematics and, where applicable, other subjects. This may be particularly important for students who are not native French speakers.
4. Interview with the Director:
Depending on the number of places available and the analysis of the admission file, parents and children will be invited to meet with the Director of Molière, to discuss the children’s educational project on the one hand, and to enable the school to assess whether it can meet the needs of the families on the other.
This meeting also serves to establish a bond of trust between parents and the school. It’s an opportunity for parents to ask questions about the school, how it works, expectations and so on.
After your meeting with the Headmistress, you will receive notification, either electronically or by telephone, as to whether or not your child has been accepted at our school.
5. Registration and payment:
Families whose children have been accepted and have received an official offer of admission to Molière must pay the initial registration fee. The student’s enrolment will be confirmed as soon as these fees have been paid. If the situation is not resolved within 6 working days of the official offer, the Lycée Molière reserves the right to offer the place to another candidate. The admission process will be considered complete once the tuition fees have been paid in full.
6. Orientation and administrative registration: After registration, the school will provide parents with information about their child’s future schooling, textbook acquisition and other administrative procedures.
