History

He who does not know where he comes from cannot know where he is going.

After approximately 30 years in the field of education, developing, managing and growing schools, Mrs. Madiha El Odessy founded the International Schools of Egypt (ISE). Founded in 2005, in the mediterranean city of Alexandria, ISE was built on an approximately 5,000 Sqm land and a BUA of 4,800Sqm, with the vision of bringing a high Quality, individually tailored education experience to the children of Alexandria in what was at the time described as a “Boutique School”.

ISE is the owning and managing company of both Lycee Moliere and the International British School of Alexandria (IBSA). By design both schools share a campus, this was designed to encourage cross cultural exposure and enrich student education Each school has a maximum licensed capacity of 400 students, and a maximum class size of 18 students and a targeted ratio of 7-9 students to teacher or Co-Teacher.

The International British school of Alexandria Follows the British National Curriculum and from FS1 to graduation and offers an IGCSE graduate programme. Lycee Moliere offers the BAC French education system and is an MLF partner school running for full accreditation.
